We need your support right now. Our accounts are nearly depleted and need to be refilled to continue with our 2024-2025 programming and our plans for the future. As in years past, most of our upcoming events will be held in homes throughout the area.  Through our hosts’ generosity, volunteer leadership, and “potluck” refreshments, we can keep costs down and engage everyone in creating a community-led non-profit organization. The donations we are requesting will go to these immediate needs:

• paying a stipend to a Student Rabbi and other clergy to lead Shabbat and holiday programs, as we’ve done in the past

• paying the minimal costs of renting space at the JCC and other venues, when needed for holiday programs

• purchase supplies for our events and the administration of this 501(c)(3) organization.   

Because we want to continue as a low-pressure volunteer group that relies on tax deductible contributions, we are suggesting three ways to support taking our Havurah into the future:

1. Become a Havurah Builder and support us with a yearly share. Suggested amounts are $180 for a single person and $360 per couple or family.

2. Become a Foundational Sponsor of the Havurah with a share of more than $360.

3. Become a Havurah Visionary, anonymously, or in honor or memory of a loved one, with a share of $720 or more.

4. If you only come occasionally and prefer to donate at each event: “gift as you go” by contributing at the events you attend, suggested amounts are $18 - $36.
